About Us

At Elks Lodge 2092, the parking lot on Franklin Delano Roosevelt Blvd fills up long before the music starts. Birthday milestones, holiday parties, retirement celebrations, the kind of night where a 90-year-old dances and everyone in the room takes notes. That is the energy this lodge runs on, and it has been that way for decades.

The hall itself is built for a good time: a proper dance floor, a sound system that actually does the job, and a team that knows how to coordinate an event without making you feel like you are filling out paperwork. Reviewers consistently call it clean, friendly, and easy to work with, which is exactly what you want when you are trusting someone else with your big day.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has always been about more than a building. Lodge 2092 channels that mission into the daily life of St. Mary's County, supporting veterans, investing in youth programs, and keeping a community anchor in California, MD that people can count on. Membership here means something, and the proof is in a room full of people who keep coming back.

What We Offer

The lodge offers event hall rentals that cover the full range of life's occasions. Family reunions, corporate gatherings, fundraisers, holiday parties, and milestone birthdays all find a natural home here. The space includes a dance floor, a reliable sound system, and on-site coordination support so the logistics do not land entirely on your shoulders.

Beyond private rentals, Lodge 2092 hosts regular member events, charitable initiatives tied to the BPOE national mission, and programming that supports veterans and local youth. The bar is open to members and their guests, giving the lodge a neighborhood gathering-spot feel that keeps the calendar full year-round.

For those interested in joining, the Elks welcome new members who share a commitment to community service and American values. Membership opens the door to a national network of lodges, local volunteer opportunities, and a social calendar that makes it genuinely easy to get involved in St. Mary's County.

"Went to this facility for a holiday party as a guest. As a first time visitor, me and my spouse enter the Elks Lodge in the wrong door. The Elk members at the bar where extremely rude and questioned why we entered the wrong door. Also tried to buy lottery tickets at the bar and because I was not member the refused to sell them me. If they are looking to recruit new members I will not be one of them. Bypass this place and go to either the VFW or American Legion as they are more accommodating to guest that visit there facility."

"Always a clean, friendly place for a party. Celebrated a 90th birthday with a longevity idol - she's physically active and mentally engaged and I want to be just like her!"

"Drove 1.5 hours to play poker tournament. Arrived 20 minutes late due to Friday evening traffic. The tournament director told me I should have called while driving so I could have played. He said they did not allow late entries (unlike most any other tournament in the country) and it said so on calendar which was not true."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
